The Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) debuted its René Magritte exhibit in June 2014. Fundamental aspects of Magritte's work were his surrealist outlook and method of seeing things in unique and interesting ways.
To raise awareness of the exhibit, Leo Burnett created the "Unthink" campaign, which placed ads and installations throughout Chicago--showing ways that ordinary items and events could be seen differently. To compliment the exhibit, my team created the "Unthink Magritte" app for iOS and Android.

"Unthink Magritte" allowed visitors of the exhibit to provide their own "Unterprations" of the various works, through a custom text caption, custom photo, or thirty second audio recording. Users also could browse for other interpretations and share them socially through Facebook and Twitter.
