Agency Life was a prototype game built for Farmhouse - an internal Leo Burnett organization tasked with cultivating new and creative commercial ideas. The idea behind Agency Life was to showcase original IP development along with ways to extend Leo Burnett client partnerships.
A simulation-based game, Agency Life cast the player as the owner of an ad agency. They needed to recruit, train and retain the best talent - all the while assigning them incoming projects and keeping them happy.
Advertising within this social game was a core component. By setting the game with the advertising world, we wanted to include real world advertising in a real and immersive way, unlike how we saw it being done in other games. For us, that meant concepting jobs that players could eventually perform for real-world clients. These tasks could be purely fictional or could be tied to real world events (for example, a launch of a new Samsung phone could have an in game task to build that campaign.)
