The Snowball app was part of the Fall 2011 Arctic Home project.  The iOS game was created as a cross-promotion for Coke and 7-11.  Using a player's Facebook credentials, Snowball allowed the player to fling snowballs at targets adorned with his or her friends' profile pictures.  Every time a player used his or her phone GPS to check-in at a 7-11, he or she would receive additional in-game ammunition.
Developed by an outside development house, I was brought on for image manipulation within the iOS app.  My contribution involved writing a photo manipulation system that allowed taking users' Facebook images (and the images of their friends), adjusting them for both UI and in-game needs, and also applying various dynamic overlays (such as the snow "splat" left after a snowball hit).
