In preparation for the new product launch of the Swash clothing care system (by Whirlpool), my team was asked to build a kiosk highlighting its functionality. The touch-enabled kiosk would showcase this functionality through a series of user-selectable videos and an interactive section showing the before and after of the machine's performance.
For the installation, a screen with an embedded custom Android OS was chosen. The screens came in sizes 13”, 15” and 22”, to meet various retailer size requirements. For the Summer 2014 launch, these kiosks were placed in retailers around the country including Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond.
